255 400mhz w/no overclock
I had encoded Airheads two days ago, and watched about half of it with every other frame processed, it was watchable with more framedrops, however the overall re-encoding was totally different, with many other steps involved and different bps.
Good Luck~! I hope I can get back to the same settings and use them for my all other re-encodes. Also, I have a question, will DivX settings under v.dub be saved when the settings are saved under vdub settings file? Like 1pass, bit/sec, etc ??
All we can do is just trial and encode ;) after all not one movie will have the same outcome as the other, but for cartoons, i don't think i'll go wrong with current config. And as far as I know, cartoons are mostly 15fps, unlike 29fps on TV and ~24 on dvd..
