If you've ever seen the film Rollerball that will help.
You start the season in charge of the worst 2'nd league team called "Brutal Deluxe". it is your job to take the players, buy them robotic implants?new star players and turn the losers into winners.
You can play the game as a manager and watch the action, or manage and play, or just play.
There are different bonuses and money scattered on the arena as ell as extr point areas and even a hot ball maker that scorches the other side. You get points for scoring, maiming and bonus parts.
At the end of the match you get some money to spend on enhancements etc.
It's a very fun tense game that has been around for years.
