I think I'm starting to lose it. I've been over just about every guide at every site I can find, including this one, and I still am getting very choppy playback on my Axim 400.

I'm currently exporting video projects from Adobe Premiere 6. I've tried encoding directly to Divx 5.03, and also to DV AVI. I started trying the DV AVI and using virtual dub to compress and rotate the video with Divx 5.03 to 320x216 fullscreen resolution (I get 216 instead of 240, I think becuase of the .9 aspect ratio of DV pixels).

Anyway, even making the video prerotated by virtualdub so PocketMVP doesn't have to on the fly, still can't seem to get better than 10-12fps, unless my video data rate is down around 100kbs, and that just looks like crap. I've cut the audio down quite a bit with MP3 compression, but still no good.

So, I have to wonder if I'm just expecting too much. What kind of playback speed should I be able to achieve in a fullscreen mode? And, if anyone has any pointers that I've missed, I'd appreciate it.
