Ex user of SPV C-500 and Motorola A1000. Currently on a Nokia 6680 and in the process of migrating over to a Nokia 6280. These last three are all on 3G networks in the UK (Vodafone, 3 and T-Mobile respectively).
My Vodafone account went from the A1000 to the absolutely splendid Sony Ericsson W900i - not a Smartphone in the traditional sense, but it does not seem to lack for much so I mention it on here in passing.
My 3 account started off with a Motorola E1000 and soon changed to the Symbian OS60 based 6680 handset. I must say that I prefer using Symbian on a regular keypad-based handset rather than the touchscreen of the A1000. In much the same way that I quite got on with Windows Mobile on the SPV C500.
Now, in the process of leaving 3 for T-Mobile, I have selected the OS40 based Nokia 6280. While it is not on a par with S60 in a number of terms, it is nonetheless a neat and compact handset with web browser and Organiser functions (calendar, to do etc...) that fits in with what I intend to use it for.
I've not yet managed to wean myself off of my iPAQ 4150 though. It may take a few more years to do that
