I agree. The crazy memory-format-dance is beyond annoying and beyond expensive. I need CF card for my camera, SD cards for my PPC, Memory Stick Pro Duo cards for my PSP... now there's MiniSD, MicroSD... ugh. Can't they all just pick ONE format and stick to it for a while? I still love SD cards and don't understand why they are abandoning it since the SD cards are only a fraction of an inch longer than mini/mirco SD cards. I'd rather have a device that's a fraction of an inche longer/wider to accomadate the SD card format then have to deal with yet another type of memory.

And as for the 8125/MDA and the Hermes... One of the major reasons I'm not jumping on the 8125/MDA bandwagon is because of the Hermes coming out soon (I believe it's been or being released in Europe already) which will atiquate the 8125/MDA within only a year of it releasing here... And the fact that the 8125/MDA doesn't offer that much of an upgrade for me from my current 6315.

Also, the landscape of cellular is fast changing-- even stateside. We have HSDPA and UMA here (or very soon to be here). You won't want to get caught when the real cellular upgrades hit the fan with a relatively new and very expensive phone that can't partake in the new cellular goodness... I'm personally passing over the 8125/MDA and waiting for the Hermes. I'll also be saving up the cash for yet another memory format, LOL!
