I just bought an Axim Basic and am a newbie with PDA's. Regarding memory expansion though I have a few questions:

1) CF versus SD. What are the pros and cons of each? I'm thinking about going wireless in the future - is this something to think about regarding having expansions AND wireless connectivity?

2) I assume the CF cards etc are for also installing programs (forgive me if this is a stupid question)? As in you specify whether you want to install directly to the Axim OR the CF card?

3) What are the response times typically on CF cards? With the bigger capacity does the response time slow, quicken or no diff?

4) I'm thinking about snagging a 512mb CF card (Kingston or Simpletech). Digging around last nite, it seems that the best deals I could find were somewhere around $90 after rebates. Is this about as good a deal as one could expect or do specials come out once in a while on this site, techbargains.com etc that are better?

In an unrelated question - regarding anti-virus on the Axim - if you scan software off the hard drive using Norton 2003 - should this be safe for installing or is it recommended to have a Pocket PC specific anti-virus - is there any weird proprietary viruses that normal anti-virus wouldn't catch?
