Active sync cannot find Outlook Profiles
--------------------------------------------------
So, this problem appears to be pretty obscure... but if anyone has run into it before or has any ideas, please help!
I am running Outlook 2002 (Office XP Pro) and Active Sync 3.6 [OS: WinXP Pro].
When I try to sync my AXIM with my PC it comes up with the error message "No profiles have been created. To create a new profile, use the Mail icon in the control panel."
I check the control panel - click on the mail icon and verify my profiles (I have 3 total). Following that error message, it says "Synchronization cannot be completed because your PIM program cannot be accessed."
Troubleshooting Thus Far
--------------------------------------------
I re-installed Office XP pro, ran all service packs, reinstalled Active sync 3.6 (tried 3.5 also), rebooted and hard reset the AXIM.
Tried to sync with a brand new partnership and again still no profiles found. Outlook by itself works fine running multiple
profiles. I even tried creating a new profile to see if it would recognize that.... no luck. So, this is driving me nuts!

I can add/remove programs with Active Sync, but just can't connect to Outlook and sync Contacts, Notes, etc.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
