This thing has a big "FLOP" written all over it, just like the N-Gage. Mark my words... It will be too expensive, have extremely bad autonomy, and content will lack (although the thought of handheld NWN sure makes me feel good).
And it's not even a niche market they have, it's smaller than a nice. Kids have GBAs, because the pricing is very good, and there is an incredible array of wonderful software for it. Grown-ups may or may not want to look into the PSP when it's released because of the media content it's supposed to bring, but a handheld console running PalmOS ?
They say they have some hopes for people wanting both the gaming aspect and the PIM functionality of PalmOS, but do anyone can imagine with a straight face actually bringing a console out during a company meeting to beam a Vcard or take notes when looking at your boss ? As well develop some PIM software for the GBA...
