When you install install the Axim as a device on Audible, the necessary plugin should be installed for you on the Axim. Even if you haven't activated MS Reader (this is the general MS Reader activation), I believe you can still see the Audible books in your library list. When you select a book, it will load the plugin and play. You may not be able to see the book in the MS Reader library if it is open in the Audible Player (and vice-versa). You may need to put MS Reader into the background (close the active window) in order to get proper audio playback (Audible hasn't updated their plugin for the new MS Reader -- and this became necessary in 2002 for the new MS Reader version.)

Since you have PPC 2003, I won't be able to give you any tips until next week. That's when I should have my update CD. Audible indicated compatibility with 2003, but I don't believe that they have issued an update of their player for it. There didn't appear to be the same problem in 2002.
