Experiments with PocketHackMaster show that the Axim will only accept certain settings of the factors that set CPU speed. Basically, the L value must be 27, nothing else. Then M can be 1 or 2 and N can be 1, 2 or 2.5. That limits the Axim to 100, 200, 300, 400, or 500 Mhz. The interim speeds (177, 236, 354, 472 and others) cannot be reached by the Ax because all of the require L to be something OTHER than 27. Also, most 300's won't do 500 and some won't do 400 reliably. Some 400's won't do 500 reliably. I would be very leary of a "generic" speed setter that may or may not adhere to what has been discovered about the Axim. Let the User Beware! The payback for a "bad" setting is a Hard Reset.
