I agree the Wi-Fi does suck and blow all at once. That has been the biggest issue I have had with WM2003. I do not like how it takes control of the WEP neither. I found the Wi-Fi much more difficult in them simplifying it than 2002 was. It is just like Media player. I hate Media player! It is the hardiest thing to use. Why can't I just select a folder to play my music out of? Why must it be a damn playlist!
I don't get the "internet" "work" bit. It is all the same. Plus I use the work setting while at home.... Very lame. While installing my Wi-Fi I was blaming Linksys, but now I know it was Microsoft that was the culprit.
I do have to say, why in all of Win CE history have they not given me the simple option of totally shutting down my appts? After just a one-day with out a soft reset there would be 40 different appts open if I don't force them closed. This I was disappointed on not seeing in 2003. You would think after all the 3rd party software out there MS would have taken a hint? Nope
It is Microsoft’s way or the highway.
