Actually I was able to solve my own problem. Although PocketPC is not in the list of approved devices, it is supported. The only catch (and the reason for my problem) was that I was using Windows Media Player to copy the wma file to the SD card in my PDA. This wont' work... only if you copy to the actual memory of the device. This is rather annoying since I don't have as much RAM as I do SD memory but something I'll have to learn to live with.
