We have the same problem with the latest drivers and software with 5 Axim X5 advanced PDA's on different workstations. I read somewhere that the Axim is very hungry on the USB...when connected diretly to the PC's USB ports (motherboard) the problem occurs. We have since installed PCI USB cards and the problem has disappeared.
