Garmin emap
First I just want to say that I am new to the Dell Axim. Actually I dont even have it yet (Just ordered it yesterday). I'm an old Palm IIIx user. Anyway, I was thinking of getting a CF GPS for my Dell, but I already have a Garmin e-map that I use for Mtn Biking and in the car. From what I have been reading, it seems that you can connect a regular handheld GPS to a Dell Axim. I've tried Googling for some sites that may sell the cable but have had no luck. Does anybody have any links to where I could get a cable to connect to the Dell? I dont know if this helps, but I have a regular serial cable for my Garmin that connects my Garmin to my laptop via serial port. Maybe I can use this same cable and just buy some kind of adapter that will let it fit my Axim 5? Thanks in advance for any help. By the way, this site is awesome!! Everyone on here seems very knowledgeable and willing to help. By reading this board, it helped me realize that the Axim will fit my needs perfectly and for little $$.
