It could be a software conflict.

I would:
Start removing the last few applications installed (in reverse order, ie remove the most recently installed application first) and see if that makes a difference.


If not, backup and hard reset. Once you hard reset don't restore, just see if you can recreate the problems. If you STILL have problems after a hard reset with no other software installed then it's a hardware problem, send it back. If you don't have the problem then you can either restore you backup (which may well restore the problem) or install your applications one by one.
