The Axim works fine with XP. Although, I would recommend upgrading ActiveSync from version 3.5 to version 3.6. Haven't really noticed any difference myself, but have heard that 3.6 is a little more "stable" under XP.

As for your Axim backup on your XP PC... If you opted for the default location for the backup file, it is hidden pretty deep in sub-folders.

Here goes:
- Documents and Settings
-- Your User Name (whatever you log in to XP as)
--- Application Data
---- Microsoft
----- ActiveSync
------ Profiles
-------- Your Axim Partnership name (your Axim Device Name)
--------- The backup is named Backup.stg

At least this is where it is on my XP PC.
