Day 2
As I wandered through the conference center, I ran into the same old crew from yesterday. As I stood around waiting for the 1st session I wanted to attend, a guy named Corey McLaughlin walked up. I knew that I had heard this name before... Ahh... He is the new owner of PocketPCMinds.com. We shared a few war stories and walked together to listen to Don Sorcinelli of BostonPocketPC.com talk about formatting for Pocket PC. We introduced ourselves to Don and his News and Review editor Steven Hughs (aka FYI Guy). These were two outstanding guys. I listened as Don put technical terms and defintions to things that I have been doing here on Aximsite without knowing. COOL... I design in 3 layers !!! Thanks Don !
After that presentation, I stood around and chatted for a few minutes and walked out to be greeted by Corey and 2 ladies in blue shirts. The shirts said Handango. Kerry from Handango and I set up a meeting for later that day. I went to the Media Room and had some lunch and checked my email. After that I was basicly free to roam and chat till my appointment with Kerry.
Don at the PPC Awards. Good thing it was not Tuesday Morning.
I returned to out luxurious area for chit chat...

I met Rich Hall, editor of Pocketpc Mag and co-writer of the "How to do Everything with your Dell Axim" book yesterday, but got a chance to talk a little more in our super meeting area.(pictured above) Jason Dunn, Rich, and I showed each other our units.... Rich showed me his Asus MyPal a620 and Jason showed off his 2215 (well really I wanted to see it...)

Shortly after that, I finally met Hal Goldstien of Pocket PC Mag. After a short chat, I met the other co-writer of the Dell Axim book, Derek Ball. He was a nice guy and said he would send me a copy of the book. Cool! I ran into a couple other cool people from companies that will remain Anonymous. Then it was time to meet back up with Kerry of Handango. We discussed their company and our site and came to agreement on co-branding their service with Aximsite.
It was getting late it is was time to go home. I spent 1 hour driving a 15 minute route and arrived at my friends house and had dinner with his wife and his step and real dad. Joe went off to class and I watched the World Series. He came home and off we went to the local casinos. We visited the Downtown Vegas area and I was amazed at the Light Show.

I hit the Golden Nugget for 2 and half hours of roulette only to leave exactly even...
