The green light will eventually come on. My observation is that the green light shows up when the batter completely reaches 100%, not just when it hits the 100% mark on your battery monitor. Since these LiIon batteries cannot be overcharged in this manner, I would always say just leave it there until you see it go geen unless you have to take it out. In any case, you will be OK.
