nah...i never said active sync would do it. If you open the song, or songs in window media player, and go to copy to device you can hit copy and have it send the songs to either the ppc or the SD card if you want. What I couldn't figure out was why it was just sending the song at 128kbps over. I changed one setting in Windows media player 9 so it will automatically convert songs down to 64 kbps when copying a song to device or CD. I answered my own question, and may have just saved you alot of time if you try what I do
