Offline browser question

I've just migrated across to an Axim X3i from a Palm Pilot, and one thing I really miss is Plucker.

Sure, AvantGo isn't too bad, but it's restrictive. First of all, any pages you grab from it come via their servers. This means you can't set up custom channels for sites like Slashdot (which block Avantgo due to the bandwidth they chew up). Second, the 2 meg limit bugs me. With Plucker I could mirror sections of my Intranet site to my Palm Pilot.

So what I'm looking for is an offline browser type tool that will grab and store web content directly (either through the wireless or through the docking cradle - preferably both). Plucker is only available for the Palm platform, and I've had no luck finding anything similar.

Any suggestions?

I'd also be interested in hearing what core applications people have found useful. WIS Bar is already installed, that's an essential, but I'm sure there will be other core apps I'll need eventually.

BTW, this device is extremely good. It's nice and fast, battery life seems to be pretty good, and the display is magnificent.
