You can accomplish a soft reset without using the stylus if you press in the area of the soft reset firmly with a finger. It take s a good press, but it will reset.

I do not know that you want to have a software hard reset method. The actual hard reset requires a press of the soft reset while holding the power button, so it's a two step process before you wipe out all your data.
