The Aximsite members have saved me a lot of heartache by preventing some blunders on my part that would have otherwise occured. Thankyou.

I've ordered my X5 :D . Today I'll probably order the rest of my CF GPS configuration :D . After much reading, pondering and back-forth I've decided to go with Mapopolis as my map program. Among other things, Mapopolis doesn't appear to be the memory hog that Routis is. It was a tough decision.

Now I'm trying to decide what size (Japanese) SD card to buy. The price of 512MB SD cards bothers me because based on the differential pricing of smaller SD cards they seem, in most cases, way overpriced.

For primarily west coast maps, do I really need a 512MB SD for Mapopolis? Would it work to buy two 256MB SD's and store maps on both or should I bite the bullet and get a 512?

Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.
