Guess who is about to have a Birthday
Us! Aximsite.com is getting close to turning ONE! I hearby annouce Aximsite's official Birthday as DECEMBER 15th! WE had a weird but FAST start here. We went through 6 or so layouts in the 1st few months. We used Invision Power Board until Feb 14, 2003, when we finally moved to VBulletin and things have basicly been the same ever since.
I registered the domain Aximsite.com back December 14th, 2002. I had already built the site and in no time I had the original Aximsite online and people coming from the Dell forums on the 15th. Sometime between then and Dec 22nd, 2002 we had a server crash and had to start over. One December 22nd I spent many hours getting it all back together and posted this
MESSAGE at 10pm that day.
The site grew like a wild fire and before long, I went to paying $10 a month for hosting to $99 and then by March $400. The site kept growing and growing and here we are almost a year later with almost 34,000 members. ( I deleted 4,000 inactive members a few months ago too) I want to recognize the oldest "Active" member,
Cheryl! She is member number 13 !
Like I said, we went through some fun changes and many different layouts before I decided that we need to stick with something. When I converted the site to vBulletin on Feb 14, 2000, This layout was put to work and has not changed much since.
