I am guessing that most of you having this problem are running Windows XP...

I read somewhere that this exact same problem was happening with all kinds of different routers and computer, but found out, in the end, it was a service running in Windows XP...

Do this...

Press Start, then go to run, and in the dialog box, type "services.msc" (without the quotes) scroll down near the bottom till you see "Wireless Zero Config"... Right click on it, and go to properties. A new window should pop up. In the middle of the window, you should see "Startup Type: " with a drag-down menu that is on "Automatic". Click it, and change it to "Disabled"

Press Apply, then Ok, then exit out of the Services Window... Do a restart and you should be fine...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let me explain what "Wireless Zero Config" does... "Wireless Zero Config" came preinstalled with Windows XP as an always running service. It was made so the moment there is a new wireless device attached to the computer, it would pick up on the available signals in the area. But it also causes a problem. For some reason, when it is always detecting, it scans for new Wireless LAN's every couple of minutes, thus, causing the connection drop out that a lot of people are seeing on windows xp...

Hope I was some help!
