I've posted about this before. I found a problem with SanDisk brand CF cards and media.

I tested this with 2 SanDisk CF cards and 2 non-SanDisk CF cards. Windows Media player files skip and crash using the Sandisk. However, the same files play perfectly on non-sandisk cards.

Try using a non-Scamdisk CF card and see if that corrects your issue.

Maybe someone can make a sticky thread about this issue?
