Even if you were to send the unit back to Dell I doubt they'd be able to do anything for you, from what I've heard Dell simply won't 'downgrade' Axims upgraded to WM2003 (probably both because of the cost and because of the licensing issues involved in performing such a downgrade).

Without a .ris file the official position is that you are pretty much stuck with WM2003. Of course, if you have a friend who also performed the upgrade you could ask him/her for some help. Is there a specific issue you are having with WM2003?
