I believe that is the Axim's way of showing the MS "Blue" screen. Once the power to the unit runs off, it should repower itself back up when you cut it on. Least ways that has been my experence. I have a repeating task reminder that tells me to back my unit up each week (to a sd card - putting it in onternal storage is not good - if you lose power, you lise that backup)....
