Mobility Site - View Single Post - Axim not switching on when appointment is due

Just got my Axim and when I set an appointment, it doesn't automatically switch on and play the alarm (the appointment notify i sset to remind me).

However if I manually switch on after the appointment was due then the alarm plays and the appointment pops up.

Any ideas what I've not done/am doing wrong?
