I've used both Pocket Informant and Agenda Fusion on my Axim. Of these two, I liked Pocket Informant better due to its integration into the system. That is, it ties itself into and substitutes itself for the built-in PIM apps. I run Dashboard and I liked the fact that I could click on a task on the Dashboard display and Pocket Informant's task viewer would load instead of Outlook's. Unfortunately, PI appears to have some programming issues that need fixing before I would buy it. The previous version ran so slowly on my 400MHz Axim that I removed it after about 20 minutes use. I had instances where it took the calendar 15-20 seconds to load or PI would disappear for 3-4 seconds when I called up the options screen. I downloaded their latest release and it is vastly faster than the previous one on my Axim so they must have fixed something. Unfortunately, after about an hours use, I still had several more instances where the screen did not refresh properly or entirely when I launched the calendar app. This left blank or clear spots that made it impossible to use the calendar. This was somewhat random, but it happened enough that I removed Pocket Informant again. I even did a hard reset, reinstalled just PI and still had the same problems so I know it was not an interaction with some other program that was causing the problem. I will be interested if any other Axim owner have similar problems.

Agenda Fusion does not integrate itself into the system like PI does. As a result, when I click on a task in Dashboard, the standard Outlook task application loads instead of the Fusion module. Yes, each Agenda module can be linked to the Axim's buttons, but I got used to clicking on the tasks instead of pressing a button and then the task. I will say that Agenda Fusion appears to be dramatically faster than Pocket Informant and has never given me any display or performance problems like PI did. I have exhausted the trial period for Fusion so I am waiting for PocketGear to offer a discount on Fusion (they said they will be doing so) and I plan to purchase it. That is, unless a fixed PI is released before then.
