Tried that aardwolf, looked under the batery where the only text is printed and didn't see a MAC address. Last night I eventually just did it the long way and it worked fine. To confirm my settings I looked at the details of my IP info, and lo and behold, there was the MAC address

Here's how to find it, FYI:

Launch the Dell WLAN utility (Start, Settings, Connections)
On the STATUS tab click MORE INFO.

I hate it when stuff that's 2 simple steps like that takes me a frickin' day to figure out... especially considering I'm a network administrator :rolling:
