I would go with Pocket Informant as a PIM as well. I have been using it for over a year now and like all the added features and organization of this PIM. Like dbman says it ties itself into the device itself replacing button mappings etc....
Plus you can't beat the service and support that the makers of Pocket Informant provide.
I paid I believe 25 or 30 dollars for version 2.5 over a year back. I am now on version 3.45 and I have not paid a solitary cent for all the additional updates. They are quick to respond to questions comments and suggestions and when I lost my license key and only had my name to provide them with proof that I had purchased it they emailed me back in less than 24 hours with the key I had purchased close to 8 months prior.
