Okay, so in the 3 pages of posts there isn't much solid information about performance and performance tweaks for emulators.

Some people (a few) say they can get X5's to run SNES games well and the rest don't.

Of course, NES games run great so I will leave them out completely.

I'd like to hear some tips on tweaking X5's and even X3i's for those users.

Please state the emu you are using, the tweaks you use and what your performance is like under heavy load.

Something like this:


Emu:

PPC Model:

OS: (2002 or 2003)

Tweaks: (if any)

Peformance:

and then anything else you feel is helpful.


Maybe we can put togather an informative thread to help people get the most out of their Ax.


In addition, a couple of questions I have is can anyone get SNES games to work at really good frames under heavy load?

If an X5 can't run SNES games well can it possibly run GBA games well?

Does going from w2002 to w2003 make a difference and does changing the glyph cache help at all.
