Somebody on one of the forums said they looked up their socket card at the FCC and it said it was manufactured by Symbol. Symbol and Socket have a joint venture and it looks like they're the same card (but don't hold me to it). Do a search in the forums. There are a couple of threads on this question. But if you're in for the tech support, then maybe Socket is the way to go. But FYI, I was able to get my card going without a problem.
