How to completely remove mail data?
I no longer want to sync email with my Axim X5. I've de-selected Email in ActiveSync on my PC. Mail no longer synchronizes with my PPC; however, the original messages still appear in the Inbox. When I attempt to delete a message within the Inbox applet, nothing happens; it remains in the Inbox. When I attempt to open the messages within the Inbox applet, nothing happens. I've tried this with quite a few of the messages, BTW.
Ending the Inbox in Running Programs didn't help, nor did rebooting.
There were many small files in the \My Device\Windows\messaging folder--presumably, one file for each message. I deleted this folder, but it came right back the next time I started the Inbox applet. The small files did not re-appear, however.
My Axim is finding pointers to these messages *somewhere*; but where? How can I remove this data?
