You realize how costly it is to make video games now? We're talking millions and millions. And projects take years to make, and many games (esp. PC) see many delays.
As far as consoles, they actually LOSE money. It costs more to make them than the price they sell, esp. at the cheaper prices we see now. Just as Bill Gates. ;)
So yeah, money is made on the games themselves... but to say it's a 1000% profit is laughable beyond belief.
