smellycamel, this is exactly the opposite of my experience. I have seen a significant increase in speed from PPC 2002 to WM 2003 in every program I can remember. I haven't benchmarked anything, so I can't give you real percentages up (or down), but it has to be a lot to get someone as oblivious as me to notice!

I can't compare with toshibas or hps, though.
