I have use Dell refurbished for many items. Most of the time they are new products that they are discountinuing or trying to market differently. The warranty is the same as new. I bought 2 units for my kids to use. Also if the price drops, Dell has a 30 day price match.
The home and home office side of Dell does not seem to be selling X5 anymore.
