Every company has their own software for configuring the router so you'll either need to pull out the instruction manual or post the brand/model here to get that kind of help.

To get you started, most likely, you'll be able to go into the setup utility through the web browser on your PC by typing the IP address for your router. The actual address varies by brand: for most Linksys, the IP is 192.168.1.1; for Netgear and D-Link, 192.168.0.1; Belkin, 192.168.2.1; Siemens, 192.168.254.254; etc. Once into the setup, you'll need to find the security settings and select 'none.'
