Why are they so tight about old roms anyway? It's not like they're losing money over ppl playing super mario bro v.1! IMHO, its good
PR to have people play with your old products, so that they'll remember your stuff and buy your new stuff; and for those too young to know about said products, they'll get a glimpse of the history of what they're playing now.
