Maybe everyone knows about this except me, but anyway. I have for a long period been encoding videos for my PPC. I used the guides at www.bigdvideo.com and successfully reencoded many of my divx/mpeg movies for my PPC. First of all I own an Ipaq h2210 not an axim (sorry), but anyway I didn't like the fact that I only got a framerate at about 7-12 fps in my movies. Today I downloaded a movie from www.pocketmatrix.com and was surprised that they gave me 24 fps (no frames dropped)! I tried taking one of the pocketmatrix movies (in this case the killerbean 3 trailer) and reencoded it in virtual dub. Now when I played the movie in Pocket MVP (latest version) I only got 12 fps! So I tried installing DivX 4 instead of DivX 5.11, reencoded, and now my movie would also be played at 24 fps with no frames dropped!!!

So use DivX codec 4 instead of 5 it's alot faster! Or am I missing something completely here? What are your experiences?!
