Good evening...

I'm on my fourth Axim X5 as of this writing:

#1 I dropped
#2 Decided that the CF and Internal flash memory wasn't needed anymore...
#3 Came shipped with the backup battery refusing to read anything but 0%

and

#4's quirk is that when I use the power button, it turns off from fll brightness, and turns on fully dimmed. I've found the control that let's me hit the power button a second time and bring it to full brightness...but how about actually turning back on at the same brightness level I turned it off at?

Is this a known issue, and is there a fix? Or am I stuck with the workaround?
