Even more interesting is what the Dell rep told our local CompUSA...
He said that it's the metallic label on the SanDisk cards that is shorting out just enough to corrupt the card.
I don't know if it's true, but if you can't return your SanDisk for some reason it might be worth a try to carefully remove the label...
