Well I've found myself saying the same thing multiple times to different people in different posts and I figured I would just put everything together in one monster post for people to read (and maybe I could take a vacation afterwards or something :p).
Also, people get referred to the Sandisk Thread all the time, but it's 40(?) freaking pages long, and I thought it might be a good idea to have the information in it (which isn't totally complete anyway) summarized in one post.
Billionton: these guys seem to be more of a networking company who've expanded into flash memory. As such, it's hard to say how reliable theyd be and without specific information I can only guess that they probably shop for the cheapest OEMs on a short-term basis. They are really too small an SD brand to put a lot of stock in, but personally I haven't heard about them one way or another (that I can recall).
Their superfast SD may just be a Sandisk Ultra II SD with their sticker on it, and if that's true I wouldn't buy it except as a....heck you can't even use it for a paperweight.

Thanks, though a lot of people do a lot of helping all the time at AximSite.
As for memory specials, I haven't seen any current deals on SimpleTech SD, but if you can get the money in a hurry, try
Kingston 256MB SD $56 AR, shipped, handled
or
Kingston 512MB SD $133 AR, shipped, handled
The rebates expire in two days! These are just about the best prices I currently know of.
To buy, click "click and find," look for the item in the list, and click on the "buy now" button.
