I'm assuming you already have Windows Media Player 9 series installed on your computer and have some songs compiled into a play list. If not, the first thing you want to do is to download this newest version of software from the microsoft site.
(by the way, there are lots of posts on this site about this, so if my directions turn out to be too vague or confusing just search this site)
Step 1: Sync your Axim up to your computer.
Step 2: Open the computer's media player and you will see tabs on the left side. Click on the one that says "Copy to CD or Device".
Now you will see a screen that has a left and a right side. On the left side, Step 3: pick the songs you want to copy from your play list.
Step 4: This is where I recall it gets tricky. If your actively synced up you should be able to pick from a drop down list where you want the songs to copy to. I pick my CF card.
Step 5:Then click start copy which is a red button at the top right.
There is also a step between step 3 and step 4 where you can make the copy size smaller to hold more songs. I did this a while ago and forget the specifics. I will get back on and add these steps if I can recall the details, or find the magazine article I got them from - also - search for these details as I've posted them before. Even without this step you can copy songs, they will just be large.
Hope this info is enough to get you started.
