I am a Klutz with ADHD. Handheld electronic tremble at my approach because what could be more terrifying that a person was is:

clumsy

constantly distracted and leaving his stuff anywhere

constantly taking risk

and forgetful... did I already say that
I have to salute the valiant soldier that was my first Axim. Today I have to ship it back to Dell for the light has gone from its eyes (screen)
I work in tech support and my Axim was outstanding. It's case is pitted and the silver paint is worn though but day after day it continued to make my life easier. Drops, it had many, some of the more memorial ones include:
The Drop Kick: knocked off a four foot counter onto ceramic tile only to be punted across the room and into the wall as I lunged to try and save it.
Several "Fly and be Free": these would occur when I would listen to mp3 while cleaning up downed trees with a chain saw. My arm or a tree limb, etc. would catch the headphone wire and the resulting yank would free my Axim from its case and sendit flying to crash down on the abundance of Granite, no wings or parachute.
The How Dense is ...: involved using my Axim as a flashlight and predictably stubbing a toe or tripping causing the only light to make a rather graceful arc before abuptly hitting the ground.
I will not mourn its passing but revell in its life. I had gotten a bit carelees with it lately and I had taken to carrying it in the back pocket of my jeans (bare) Once again the predictable happened I slipped on ice and came down hard. 240lbs on concrete, it didn't have a chance.
Good news though. I had the two year bells and whisles Dell warranty and even in Canada I got one the next day. I was a bit leary of the exchange policy because of some of the items I read but the new unit was spanky. It looked new to me, it was a 255 replacing my 250, and it had PC 2002 loaded. Also, my old Axim though its screen was crushed still operated in the cradle and I was able to get a full back up off it.
Now that's quality..
P.S. I love the size of the X5. Big mitts and stubby finger aren't good with them there dainty little PDAs:D
