Yep, Microphone gain set third setting from right and voice recording format set to
11,025 Hz, 16 bit, Mono (22 kb/s) seems to be best compromise. Produces a pretty darn good recording thought some crackling does show up once in a while.
Also , there's a freeware MP3 recorder application for Pocket PC named NoteM that ALWAYS produces a top quality recording. That's what I'm using now......
