Mobility Site - View Single Post - How large is your "Windows" folder and what to get rid of?

My "Windows" folder (PPC 2002) is currently 29,4 MB large. I found some files i suppose may be deleted

- in the "AppMgr" folder there are .DAT and .DLL files of applications ive already deinstalled and no longer have on my pda - i suppose nothing'll (except of some reduction of the mess in the windows folder) happen if i delete them...am i right?

- and then - if there are some analogical files in the windows folder, please tell me

- plus one rather off topic question - how should i change the icon of .txt files, which has been that of an "unknown" file since i deinstalled pocket notepad - should i use some registry editor and if so - which is the best one (once i tried to install the PHM registry editor but the installation on my pc failed for some reason)

- then i have some other bugs which i unfortunately suppose not to be solved here - like the calendar reminders not working and the total unability to synchronize with pc (can be connected only as a guest and each time i connect activesync asks me if i want to create a partnership - i have to refuse and stay as a guest - its pretty annoying..so if anyone can write a few words about it, i won't be angry :)
