Hi People,
My question is do I need an official DELL CD to install active sync, as I am having great problems doing so, I read in other posts about anti virus software, Which I uninstalled with still no luck.

I have tired to different versions of active sync, each time it seems to install temp files somwhere, then never actually gets into the Installation Wizzard, Is this a common problem that can be fixed easily. The only other thing which I read was about XP being an upgrade from ME, not a fresh install. I do have an upgrade on my machine, is it likley to be that?

Is there any other software you can use, as I am currently having to do it all via infa red to my PC, Which is very slow.

Anyones help on this would be great
