There isn't a maximum size for DivX but there is a maximum bitrate. When you encode your media, within the DivX options, you can choose between profiles. Ensure you choose the Certified DivX Portable Video profile. When you select it, it'll tell you what you have to do to make it viewable on PDA's if it's not Portable Video compliant. Good luck.
