If it is an actuall leak in the program itslf then yes killing the process that is eat at it will let go of that memory. But if it is the tampering with the regisry to place the files on SD card and not all the pics and spacers and other html junk is making it to the sd card then it is going to pile up on the RAM therefore eating memory up like a two year old in the cookie jar.
